Michael Araneta leads AWS Financial Services business in Thailand, following his role as Banking GTM in Southeast Asia (ASEAN). His work focuses on bringing the benefits of cloud and AI into mission-critical workloads for financial services institutions including core banking systems, digital lending, Banking-as-a-Service, and fintech innovation.

Michael Araneta has over 20 years of experience in research and strategic advisory for financial institutions across the region. Immediately prior to joining AWS, Michael led IDC Financial Insights Asia/Pacific covering leading banks and insurers in their digital transformation effort.
