Insights 2040 Annual Meeting
Strategic Invite-Only Dialogue for Finance and Tech Leaders 16 - 17 November 2026 | Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore
The Annual Meetings for senior public and private sector leaders on the priorities shaping financial services.
The Insights2040 Annual Meetings, formerly known as the Insights Forum, is the culmination of Insights2040, GFTN's year-round platform for co-creating the evidence base and implementation pathways the financial system needs to become more efficient, resilient, and inclusive.
The Annual Meetings kick off Singapore FinTech Festival week, bringing senior leaders from central banks, regulators, financial institutions, and technology partners together to address the industry's most pressing priorities. Across two days of invite-only dialogue, participants tackle problem statements that require close public and private sector collaboration to move the industry forward.
New for 2026: 2-days of invite-only activities
This year's meetings expand significantly in format and scale, offering six programming formats across two days, each designed for a different depth of engagement.
2026 Theme
Insights to Action
The 2026 meeting turns a year of insights into action, across the four priorities: tokenization and programmable finance, artificial intelligence, digital public infrastructure, and quantum resilience.
Tokenization & Programmable Finance
Tokenizing the economy - from assets and stablecoins to payment rails. Evidence base and implementation pathways for tokenized assets, programmable money, and cross-border payment infrastructure.
Artificial Intelligence
Governance and deployment in financial services - including agentic commerce, where AI systems transact autonomously,
and AI-powered financial crime detection
Digital Public Infrastructure
Benchmarking readiness, identifying gaps, and charting the foundations for inclusive digital financial infrastructure.
Quantum & Resilience
Cryptographic migration, quantum-safe infrastructure, and the institutional steps that cannot wait.
Insights Exchange
This is a flagship addition to the Annual Meetings and a centrepiece of the delegate experience. A dedicated hands-on space, this zone brings together live demonstrations, working prototypes, and interactive exhibits from banks, central banks, regulators, and technology providers spanning eight domains from Tokenization to Quantum Computing.
Partner Conferences
Leading financial institutions can co-locate their own flagship conferences alongside the Annual Meetings, combining senior customer and network events with Insights2040 programming.
Public-Private Roundtables
Signature 90-minute structured sessions held under Chatham House rules for 10–15 senior leaders across public and private sectors.
Workshops & Design-Thinking Sessions
Hands-on 30-60 minute working sessions and structured design sprints focused on policy and technology challenges, each tied to a workstream: Tokenization & Programmable Finance, AI, DPI and Quantum & Resilience. Sessions are built to move from what the industry knows to what it needs to do, with capacity for up to only 100 participants.
Networking
Curated engagement opportunities across both days, from facilitated 1:1 introductions and matched cross-sector meetings, to regulators-and-industry breakfasts and drinks, and a VIP invitation-only dinner.
Launchpads
Dedicated sessions for launching new products, research reports, partnerships, and policy initiatives at the Annual Meetings, in front of the decision-makers who matter most across each workstream. Branded and agenda-listed, visible to the full delegate community.
Boardrooms
Invite-only sessions under Chatham House Rules, limited to ten participants, structured for candid and high-trust exchanges on industry challenges best explored off the record.

An Incredible Concentration of Public and Private Sector Thought Leaders
"Simply by bringing both of these groups into the same room, that alone is powerful. People often fear what they don’t understand, but when you come together face to face, that changes.
Coming together, sharing perspectives, and understanding each other’s challenges firsthand builds trust and dissolves a lot of misconceptions. Forums like this turn abstract policy debates into real human conversations."
