Priyank Hirani is the Vice President of Programs at data.org, where he leads global initiatives that use data and AI to address social and economic challenges. He focuses on building multi-stakeholder collaborations to advance AI for Impact capabilities. Priyank was instrumental in setting up and scaling data.org's global Capacity Accelerator Network, which has upskilled 300k+ practitioners till date. Previously, he advised the World Bank, led The Rockefeller Foundation’s Data, Technology, and Innovation portfolio in Asia, and spearheaded technology-enabled environmental monitoring projects at the University of Chicago Trust in India. He serves on the Board of Trustees of VigyanShaala and is a Young India Fellow from Ashoka University. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from BITS Pilani and an MSc in Circuit Design from Imperial College London.
