      Winnie Yap is Managing Director and Head of Global Payments Solutions (GPS), Singapore.

      In this role, Ms Yap is responsible for driving the growth and franchise value of HSBC’s Global Payments Solutions business in Singapore and across the region. Since her appointment in March 2021, she has led the development and execution of business strategy, delivering strong performance and commercialising market-leading digital payment solutions.

      Ms Yap has over 20 years of banking experience across relationship management, transaction banking, and client management. She also actively engages with regulators and industry partners to advance digital transformation in this region. On a personal front, Ms Yap actively contributes to empowering female leadership and nurturing talents through various forums.

      Ms Yap holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance, Upper Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore.
