      Andrea has over 25 years of experience in the global finance industry. She started her career at the St. Lucia Development Bank. She currently serves as Global Head of Treasury Operations at the World Bank Group, where she provides strategic and operational leadership of the Group’s end to end global Treasury Operations platform. In this role, Andrea oversees the execution of the World Bank Group treasury operations activities across funding, investments, and asset and liability management, including the Group’s banking and settlement infrastructure, collateral and custody arrangements, portfolio analytics, and valuations.

      Andrea previously served as Global Head of Funding for IBRD and IDA for ten years, leading the World Bank’s funding activities and the expansion into new markets and innovative funding products including digital bonds. She was responsible for designing and executing the Bank’s global capital markets funding strategy, raising more than US$80 billion each year.

      Andrea is a Fulbright Scholar and a graduate of the Harvard General Management Program. She holds a Degree in Business Administration from Cape Breton University; an MA in Finance and Economics from Brandeis University; and an MSc in Technology and Telecommunication Systems from Johns Hopkins University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
