This invitation-only roundtable will bring together senior leaders across finance, regulation, technology and financial inclusion to examine accountability for scam prevention, intervention and recovery.

Using a hypothetical scam scenario and insights from Tazama’s real-time financial crime monitoring experience, the discussion will explore how shared intelligence, AI and advanced analytics can strengthen coordinated defences while keeping protection affordable and accessible, particularly in emerging markets. It will also consider the governance and interoperability frameworks needed to support collective action.

Held under the Chatham House Rule, the session will draw on perspectives from Tazama, Mastercard, Mojaloop Foundation, Feedzai and OFTA, with the aim of identifying practical priorities for continued collaboration.
