James Boey is CEO for China, India, ASEAN and Central Asia at GFTN. He is also Co-CEO of GFTN Forums.

In his regional role, James leads GFTN’s market strategy and ecosystem development. He works closely with governments, regulators, financial institutions and technology companies to build cross-border partnerships, develop new initiatives and support the growth of financial and technology ecosystems.

As Co-CEO of GFTN Forums, James shapes global platforms that bring together leaders from finance, technology and the public sector to advance dialogue, collaboration and commercial opportunities.

Before joining GFTN, James was Senior Vice President at Constellar, a subsidiary of Temasek, where he oversaw its regional business. Earlier in his career, he served with Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry and was a senior officer in the Singapore Armed Forces.

Across his career, James has focused on building markets, connecting stakeholders and turning public-private collaboration into practical initiatives. His experience spans financial technology, international market development, strategic partnerships and ecosystem building across Asia.
