Synopsis:
In this keynote, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN); Ambassador (Climate Action), Singapore & Former Managing Director, Monetary Authority of Singapore highlighted the urgent challenges facing MSMEs as they navigated a “double squeeze” of rising costs and rapid business model disruption. Against a backdrop of slowing global growth and persistent inflation, he called for a structural shift built on the alignment of technology, finance, and policy. Drawing on examples from Africa, Asia, and beyond, he outlined how governments, financiers, and innovators could help MSMEs not only survive but bounce forward.
